About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at banquet functions, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the banquet room according to the Banquet Event Order, ensuring all necessary items are in place.
  • Set tables and maintain buffets to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Serve guests with a smile, following rules of etiquette and property standards.
  • Brew and serve coffee and tea, as well as pour wine and other beverages.
  • Clear tables of dirty dishes and deliver them to the kitchen.
  • Knowledge of hotel and city facilities is essential for providing excellent service to our guests.
  • Attend all training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding special requests and complaints.
  • Maintain work ethics and be accountable for your actions.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Long hours may be required, but we offer a competitive wage scale to compensate.
  • Vaid ServSafe Certificate is required for this position.
