Supply Chain Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Supply Chain to join our team at Masco Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that optimizes transportation routes, reduces shipping costs, and improves delivery times.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in supplier operations.
- Design and implement inventory management systems and policies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize holding costs.
- Coordinate with the production team to develop and execute production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigating strategies to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), performance reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Lead and manage the supply chain team, providing guidance, mentoring, performance feedback, and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the supply chain team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment to drive overall business performance.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA is preferred).
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of global supply chain trends and best practices.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management software and tools.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
