About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business units and driving strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert financial analysis and decision support to optimize business unit profitability and manage SG&A expenses.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement and implementation of new financial processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models and conduct business analytics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and commentary to business units, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and implement corporate dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.
  • Provide expert financial analysis and input to senior leadership teams, informing strategic decisions and driving business growth.
Requirements
  • CPA designation with over 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a major company with substantial inventory levels.
  • Proficiency in large ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a proven track record of identifying trends and variances that require further investigation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
