Lead Analyst, Financial Planning

At Liberty Utilities, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our Financial Planning team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in supporting business unit leaders and Senior Management in strategic and tactical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of analysts and support business unit leaders in financial planning and analysis
  • Develop and maintain corporate and regulated utility models and decision tools
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and business unit FP&A to align planning assumptions
  • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and stakeholders
  • Build and develop financial models and analyses to provide accurate financial pictures
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • ~5+ years of progressive experience in a highly analytical environment
  • Robust understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts and principles
  • CPA/CFA/MBA or other relevant financial designations are strong assets
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor junior team members
