About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at 2871958 Ontario Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Communication: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Office Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, supervise other workers, and train new staff members.
  • Record Keeping: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and maintain accurate records.
  • Office Procedures: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of events.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Compile data, statistics, and other information, and prepare reports as required.
  • Inventory Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Office.
  • QuickBooks: Familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Area of Specialization: Correspondence, Invoices, and Payroll services.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgment, organized, team player, accurate, client focus, reliability, time management, adaptability, accountability, dependability, due diligence, and quick learner.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
