We are seeking a qualified and experienced Business Studies educator to join our team on a long-term occasional basis for the 2024-2025 school year.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to secondary students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Business Studies to secondary students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Intermediate and Senior qualifications in Business Studies
- At least two (2) different Senior teachable subjects
- Valid OCT certificate in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
