Job Summary:

The Assistant Brewer will play a key role in the production team, working closely with the Lead Brewer to ensure the smooth operation of our brewery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Brewer in the execution of brewery processes, including Wort Production, Brewhouse CIP, and Yeast Handling.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new recipes and beer styles, working closely with the R&D team.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, including Safety and QA, to ensure a safe and quality-focused work environment.
  • Represent CA42 Archibald Inc. at internal and external events, promoting our brand and values.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal operation of our brewery equipment.

Requirements:

  • Passion for craft beer and a strong understanding of brewery operations.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with a strong attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience in a commercial production brewery is an asset, but not required.
