Business Development Lead

RBC Dominion Securities, a leading full-service investment and wealth management firm in Canada, is seeking a highly skilled and resourceful individual to join our team as an Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and support to our clients and advisors, helping us deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client events, including event logistics, invitations, and follow-up, in collaboration with advisors and sponsors.
- Develop and execute innovative business development activities to drive team growth and success.
- Create and manage marketing materials, adhering to brand guidelines, using content creation, management, and publishing tools.
- Work closely with RBC WMC Marketing partners to design, build, and manage team websites, including maintenance and content posting.
- Update team communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters, using social media skills.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and understanding manner, addressing account transactions, requests, documentation, and reporting.
- Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, advisors, and internal/external partners.
- Coordinate and prepare meetings for advisors with clients and prospects, leveraging planning skills.
- Support advisors and clients through the wealth management process, maintaining an audit of wealth management activities and priorities.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), or willingness to complete within the first year.
- Experience in the securities industry.
- Strong skills in business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- High-quality time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service, professional, warm, and friendly to clients.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
