Job Title: General Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled General Construction Labourer to join our team at K-W DRYWALL SERVICES LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and cranes
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work site environment: at heights, dusty
  • Work setting: various locations
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Residential construction specialization
