Job Title: Assistant Librarian - Copyright and Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Librarian to join our team at Trinity Western University. As a key member of our library staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic community by providing expert guidance on copyright and education-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reference and information services to students, faculty, and staff on copyright and education-related topics.
  • Develop and maintain web-based and print reference materials on copyright and education.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement information literacy programs.
  • Manage the Curriculum Resource Centre, including overseeing collections, budgets, and staff.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the School of Education, providing specialized orientation and research assistance.
Requirements:
  • ALA-accredited Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (or equivalent).
  • 2-3 years' experience in an academic library, preferably in an education library or curriculum resource centre.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills.
