About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at RSR Road Surface Recycling Limited. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine weldability of materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, dusty, noisy, and odorous work site environment.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, and hardworking.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
