Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at RSR Road Surface Recycling Limited. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Determine weldability of materials and fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, hardworking
Work Environment

The work site environment is outdoors, dusty, noisy, and may involve odours. The work is physically demanding and requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and manual dexterity.

Weight Handling

The weight handling requirement is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
