About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at RSR Road Surface Recycling Limited. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as needed.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dusty and noisy environment with odours present. The ability to work outdoors is also required.
