About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Business Analyst to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the expert in reporting and work closely with IT stakeholders to implement new reports, enhancements, or updates to existing reports.
  • Understand delivery strategies and roadmaps of all delivery teams and assess impact on reports.
  • Translate user requirements into detailed reporting requirements.
  • Work as a bridge between the development team and business stakeholders and continually look to add value to the organization through product increments and enhancements.
  • Ensure the supervision of month-end activities according to a specific working day timetable and provide guidance and support in the eventuality of incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, econometrics, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Background in accounting (CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a data business analyst role.
  • Advanced experience using Oracle tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with finance data and financial statements.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
