Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with packaging experience to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing new equipment, repairing equipment, and providing routine maintenance and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Analyze equipment performance to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Repair and maintain electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Engage with customers on-site to provide technical support and guidance.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Training and Documentation
    • Train customers on the operation, maintenance, and sanitation of equipment.
    • Document and fill out reports and expenses on a regular basis.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of maintenance/service experience in electro-mechanical machinery.
  • Practical application of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
  • Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others.
  • Experience repairing or maintaining Food Processing/Packaging/Automation Machinery is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual skills are a bonus.
