About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Service Assistant to join our Surety Team in our Langley Office. As a key member of our Construction division, you will provide exceptional support to our team by ensuring timely document issuance and data maintenance, upholding BFL Canada's standard of customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to incoming requests from Client Executives and clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate and detailed documentation, ensuring seamless communication with clients and underwriters.
  • Manage and maintain our in-house administration system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support Client Executives by managing the abeyance system and processing invoices.
  • Maintain client records through our EPIC system, purging 'dead files' and creating new files as required.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Level 1 insurance license or in progress.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of EPIC and Surety Bonds considered an asset.
