They are seeking to enhance their Greater Toronto Area operations by bringing on board a Senior Environmental Engineer. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a project engineer for water and wastewater initiatives throughout Ontario, managing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology evaluation, and leading the development of technical memoranda and reports. Function as a process engineer to assist in mechanical and/or hydraulic design during the construction of water and wastewater facilities. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide insights for budget preparation, while engaging with clients to promote business growth, enhance the company’s reputation, and build relationships with municipal clients in the water sector. Participate in relevant professional organizations within the industry.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to gather, consolidate, and coordinate technical information to support projects and proposals. Offer supervision, guidance, mentoring, and technical support to engineering and technical personnel. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario. At least 7 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering/processes, with significant experience in the Ontario market. Proven track record in leading and completing technical, process, and design tasks for water projects. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor. Experience in business development activities, including crafting proposal scopes and resource requirements tailored to municipal clients. Proficient in computer applications including MS Office, project management software, and industry-specific tools. Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met. Benefits:
