Job Title: Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic

RICHS SAW SALES is seeking a skilled Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex engine and equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Discuss work with supervisor to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Review work orders to understand customer requirements and expectations.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety standards.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of work.
