Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent assessments of qualitative risks associated with private investments
- Advise investment teams on governance, policy, and risk modeling
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring an unbiased risk evaluation
- Collaborate closely with deal teams to comprehend risks and prepare for discussions
- Assist in the creation of monitoring and modeling frameworks for private investment portfolios
- Work cross-functionally to support benchmark recommendations and align with organizational strategy
- Prepare and deliver analyses to the Investment Committee and Board of Directors
- Facilitate the mentorship and development of junior team members
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CBV, CA, or CAIA are advantageous
- Over 5 years of progressive experience in finance or related fields
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, valuation, and capital structuring
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with macros is a plus
- Familiarity with international real estate markets is beneficial
- Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
