TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our testing efforts and ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, oversee the design, planning, development, and execution phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, incorporating both automation initiatives using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and manual testing techniques.
  • Accessibility Testing: Lead accessibility testing efforts for web applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Test Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate test activities within the team, ensuring efficient execution and effective communication.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of test execution, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Management: Document and manage the detailed execution plan for all testing cycles, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • External Partnerships: Liaise with external partners to ensure effective and timely delivery, fostering strong relationships and collaborative environments.

  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor developers on best practices in test automation, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not affect existing functionality, maintaining the integrity of our software products.
  • Testing Processes: Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance Metrics: Design, implement, and track quality assurance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest testing tools and strategies, continuously improving testing practices and ensuring TV2 Consulting remains at the forefront of software quality.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
    • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
    • Proficient in using automated testing tools.
    • Experience with performance testing.
    • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in the full testing life cycle.
    • Ability to manage both manual and automated testing strategies.
    • Proficiency in BDD and automation script development.
    • Strong coordination and team management skills.
