Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the quality system while supporting a limited number of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and administer the company quality program in relation to designated customers.
  • Work to push through internal corrective actions and supervise quality inspectors.
  • Act as customer liaison for ongoing quality issues on specific customers.
  • Lead root cause investigations on both internal and external quality concerns for specific customers.
  • Supervise and support quality inspectors with tasks related to daily production.
  • Participate in new business reviews, customer programs, and supplier development.
  • Assist in establishing procedures for assigned programs to ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
  • Work with the APQP team on new program launches to ensure smooth transition from GP-12 to production.
  • Assist in new program feasibility review.
  • Assist with promoting and implementing company-wide quality improvement efforts.
  • Lead quality process improvements.
  • Support and assist with IATF16949 compliance.
Requirements:
  • Injection molding automotive experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in quality engineering (SPC and problem-solving techniques).
  • Tier 1/Tier 2 experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other related software programs as required.
  • Good understanding of metrology (GD&T, CMM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.
  • Familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards.
  • Attention to detail.
