About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Montreal, QC, Canada. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will be responsible for testing games in various languages, including Vietnamese, to ensure linguistic, visual, and cultural accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Vietnamese
  • Find translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
  • Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
  • Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
  • Follow and respect terminology guidelines
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
  • Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
  • Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead

Requirements

  • Native-level language competency in Vietnamese
  • Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
  • Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
  • Passion for video games
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Professional competency in English
