Localization Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and linguistically skilled individual to join our team as a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized text in various video game titles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing of video game titles to identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues in Spanish (Spain) localized text.
- Verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Spanish (Spain) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Report errors and discrepancies in a clear and concise manner using our bug-tracking database and/or translation document.
- Collaborate with the QA team to resolve errors and improve the overall quality of localized content.
- Stay up-to-date with terminology guidelines and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Test Lead and other team members to address and escalate issues as needed.
- Native-level language competency in Spanish (Spain) with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada.
- Experience working with mobile, PC, and console devices, as well as knowledge of their terminology.
- Passion for video games and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Professional competency in English.
- A competitive starting salary of 17 CAD/hour.
