Fleet Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Procurement Administrator to join our team at Recruitment Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for the maintenance and operation of fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Management: Source and procure parts required for the maintenance and repair of cranes, ensuring timely availability to minimize downtime.
- Order Coordination: Utilize the Top Desk system to coordinate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Create and maintain a preferred vendor list, fostering strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Quote Management: Reach out to vendors to obtain quotes for required parts and services, comparing options to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Inventory Management: Oversee and control the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to support maintenance operations without overstocking.
- Financial Management: Manage vendor invoices, ensure accurate purchase order (PO) matching and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Procurement Process Management: Leverage Dynamics 365 to manage procurement processes, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in procurement, fleet management, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills, strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills, proficient in procurement software, knowledge of fleet industry trends and procurement practices.
