About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Cold Lake Restaurant Limited Partnership. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and order supplies and equipment.
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, urban area, and remote location.
