Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Port Hardy Town Pantry. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Manage inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient store operations
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe store environment
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work a 30-40 hour workweek
