About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JIM & DON INVESTMENTS LTD. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, provide excellent customer service, and achieve sales targets by effectively managing sales floor operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, cashiers, and other store employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service and sales results.
  • Store Operations: Manage store opening and closing procedures, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, inventory reports, and other relevant data to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management or supervisory role
  • Work Setting: Retail business in a rural area
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, basic security clearance, and a criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player
