SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage maintenance operations for aircraft, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently;
  • Supervise technical staff and provide guidance in their daily tasks;
  • Collaborate with Skyservice's operational and maintenance teams across various locations to meet the service and maintenance requirements of aircraft;
  • Manage AOG (Aircraft on Ground) maintenance requests and work driven by ASF;
  • Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are accessible to maintenance staff for safe and effective task completion;
  • Engage in operational and maintenance meetings to align on objectives;
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System to promote a safe working environment;
  • Contribute to the daily operations within the hangar;
  • Conduct performance evaluations for technical personnel to foster professional growth;
  • Work in partnership with internal departments and clients to enhance service delivery;
  • Collaborate closely with the immediate manager on productivity, equipment procurement, and client relations;
  • Review and verify invoices as necessary;
  • Maintain communication with customers as required;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Possession of a valid Transport Canada M-2 license or an equivalent certification;
  • Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or its equivalent;
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in maintenance along with supervisory experience;
  • Experience with Business Aircraft types is advantageous;
  • Endorsements on Business Aircraft would be beneficial;
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team engagement;
  • Proficient in solving complex issues and implementing effective solutions;
  • Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver results;
  • Customer service-oriented with a commitment to excellence;
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
