Job Title: Director, Medical

Kamloops Dental Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Medical to join our team.

Job Summary

The Director, Medical will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of healthcare services at Kamloops Dental Centre. This includes planning and controlling budgets, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, hiring and training staff, managing contracts, and developing evaluation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Plan and control budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures for the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with healthcare providers and suppliers.
  • Evaluation Systems: Develop evaluation systems to monitor healthcare services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate the work of doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.
  • Consultation: Consult with boards of directors, senior managers, and government officials to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Project Management: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure timely completion and quality outcomes.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
