About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Five Rivers Contracting Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Equipment Management: Set up equipment and ensure that it is properly maintained.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed on all projects.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Materials Management: Requisition materials and supplies, and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and residential projects.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, flexible, judgement, organized, and reliable.
