Job Summary

Xcel Construction Limited is seeking a skilled General Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising workers and projects, with experience in coordinating and scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Set up equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a noisy environment, with frequent exposure to construction sites. The work setting will be a mix of construction, maintenance, repair, custom work, renovation, commercial, and residential projects.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Client-focused and team-oriented.
