This role necessitates hands-on experience in executing multi-step synthesis and purification processes for intricate small molecules. Familiarity with analytical characterization methods, particularly NMR and LC-MS, is highly advantageous.
Your activities will be overseen by a senior scientist, and you will collaborate closely with a team of scientists engaged in the biological evaluation of the compounds you synthesize, focusing on their impact on targets such as mitochondrial homeostasis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct the synthesis, purification, and characterization of target molecules.
- Manage your own schedule and daily laboratory tasks, seeking guidance when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain safe laboratory practices.
- Perform data analysis to evaluate experimental outcomes, including the collection and interpretation of analytical data with support from a senior scientist.
