Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at FMI Atlantic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Walking
  • Physically demanding
