Job Title: Construction Project Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Superintendent to join our team at Whelan Construction.

About the Role

The Construction Project Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors' activities, plan and organize daily operations, and prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and train them in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, and oversee the analysis of data and information.
  • Communication: Prepare reports, resolve conflict situations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project, with experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5 years or more
  • Language: English
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
