Job Title: Scale Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team at American Iron and Metal. As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate weighing and receiving of materials, as well as maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

* Weigh trucks loaded and empty to ensure accurate inventory levels
* Control the number of trucks entering the yard to maintain a smooth workflow
* Direct trucks to the proper unloading area to prevent delays
* Create reception tickets for receiving product and expedition tickets for exporting product
* Create invoices for exported product and record daily inventory of material entering the yard
* Ability to travel to other AIM sites as needed

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
* Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Basic knowledge of office administration
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
* Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
