Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled handyman/woman with years of experience in the trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, plumbing, and other related skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling routine paperwork, basic marketing, customer relations, vehicle maintenance, and other tasks assigned by their supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Trade Skills: Perform a variety of tasks, including minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other related skills.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete work orders and other administrative paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in carpentry and/or the trades.
  • Driving and Navigation: Valid driver's license and good driving record, with the ability to read maps and navigate the community.
  • Agility and Stamina: Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, stretch, lift, and carry in a manner consistent with normal house repair-maintenance activities.
  • Customer Service Professional: Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take initiative to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Benefits
  • Competitive Pay: $32.00 per hour, based on the amount of time billed to customers in the pay period.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Location: Edmonton, AB.
