Job Summary

Inovata Foods is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for the proper handling, storage, and organization of all incoming goods and materials, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and warehouse best practices.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and report shortages or damages to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, production teams, and other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control initiatives, including the identification and reporting of damaged products, and contribute to the implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform various tasks as required, including assisting with inventory management, material deliveries, and other warehouse-related duties.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in computer software and equipment operation.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Forklift operations license and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
Working Conditions

This role requires daily exposure to a food processing environment, which includes dampness and cold temperatures. Occasional desk work, cooler, and freezer work may be required. Overtime, including weekend work, may be necessary to meet business demands.
