Job Title: UX Lead/Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Lead/Designer to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a UX Lead/Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design of user-centered experiences that meet the needs of our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clarify and understand business and project strategy to ensure appropriate design solutions.
  • Research and identify root causes and motivators for change, as well as the users involved.
  • Organize and present findings, solutions, and designs, and sell the case for change.
  • Coordinate with business and development teams on communicating solutions and seeing them to fruition.
  • Develop user inventories, personas, journeys, process flows, wires, and high-fidelity mockups for the team, as needed.
  • Continually evaluate emerging frameworks and technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that strengthen the design group.
  • Help curate the internal design systems and frameworks in use.
  • Promote a culture of design, community, and inclusion.
  • Ensure and maintain team buy-in of the solution.
  • Proficient in contemporary design thinking methods.
  • Solid understanding of human interface guidelines.
  • Responsive design principles.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Accessibility standards.
  • Portfolio.
Qualifications:
  • Load Runner 3-5 years
  • Performance Testing 3-5 years
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with enterprise UX.
  • Familiar with financial systems and solutions.
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Familiar with design systems.
  • Familiar with Sketch, InVision, Adobe suite products
  • Familiar with WCAG, 508, ADA guidelines.
  • Familiar with the Sketch application.
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS concepts.
  • Familiar with SAFe Agile.
