About the Job

The Systems Engineering team at Clearpath Robotics works closely with our Project Management Office to deliver business value to our end users, channel partners, and customers. As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will design and integrate fleets of autonomous mobile robots and software at customer facilities. You will also deliver training to integration partners and end-users, and evaluate use cases to establish guidelines, standards, and best practices for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer requirements and ensure clarity of all requirements prior to detailed design.
  • Consult with applications engineering during the requirements and concept definition process.
  • Design and integrate complex systems solutions for industrial automation applications.
  • Develop and validate middle layer software to interface between OTTO Fleet Manager API and third-party automation systems.
  • Support the discrete event simulation process by verifying the validity of all inputs required for simulation.
  • Author and execute acceptance test plans for validation of system functionality and performance.
  • Commission and integrate AMR systems at client facilities throughout the world.
  • Optimize system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation.
  • Project planning for deliverables and work packages.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience commissioning and integrating industrial automated equipment or software that interfaces to the equipment.
  • College/university diploma or degree in an engineering, design, or industrial controls type of field.
  • Experience working directly with clients/end-users.
