About the Job

The Systems Engineering team at OTTO Motors by Rockwell Automation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating complex systems solutions for industrial automation applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate fleets of OTTO autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and software at customer facilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical design scope to subcontractors and customers in collaboration with project management.
  • Lead and support on-site deployment and integration of designed systems, commissioning and integration of AMR systems at client facilities worldwide.
  • Author and execute acceptance test plans for validation of system functionality and performance.
  • Ensure technical integrity and consistency of solutions throughout every phase of their life-cycle.
  • Optimize system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation, and implement improvements while managing scope as agreed with customers and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience managing technical scope of solutions to customers and/or subcontractors.
  • 8+ years of experience commissioning and integrating industrial automated equipment or software that interfaces to the equipment.
  • Middle layer software design experience to enable multi-device/system integration within facility automation.
  • College/university diploma or degree in an engineering, design, or industrial controls type of field.
  • Experience working directly with clients/end-users, as well as subcontractors.
