Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at La Patisserie Fine Cakes & Pastries Inc. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, managing inventory, and supervising kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes and customer orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Staff Supervision: Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
- Accurate: Ensure accuracy in food preparation and inventory management.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in work attendance and performance.
- Judgement: Make sound judgements in food preparation and inventory management.
- Reliability: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Team Player: Collaborate with kitchen staff to achieve team goals.
