We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our Low Voltage team in Victoria. This position requires the employee to be a current member or willing to become a member of the IBEW 230.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Lead a technical team
  • Install and program security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Mass Storage, Intrusion/Burglar Alarms, and Networks
  • Interpret plans and design documents
  • Work after hours and be on call
Requirements
  • Security Technician certification
  • Security License
  • Active IBEW 230 Membership or willingness to become a member
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Eligibility for security clearance up to secret level
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon, and Kantech systems
  • Healthcare system experience an asset
