Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at A.A.G Services (construction & renovation) LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, preparing production and other reports, and coordinating and scheduling activities. They will also oversee apprenticeship training, recruit and hire workers, and train or arrange for training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Recruit and hire workers to fill vacancies and meet project demands.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage projects and track progress.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively and efficiently.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure projects have the necessary resources.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
