Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at A.A.G Services (construction & renovation) LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth project execution
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and development programs
  • Recruit and hire new staff members, as needed
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage project data and documentation
  • Set up and maintain equipment and machinery
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Recommend personnel actions to management
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
