Our projects encompass: complete demolition of various structures and on-site enhancements, selective demolition, and asset recovery for renovations to historical buildings, residential properties, hospitality venues, institutional facilities, commercial spaces, industrial sites, warehouses, as well as seismic upgrades and building envelope projects.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to assume the role of Estimator/Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze plans and specifications to ascertain the scope of work and define project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for tender submissions on demolition projects of varying sizes.
- Oversee all facets of project performance, including initiation, cost management, scheduling, change management, quality assurance, safety protocols, environmental considerations, client interactions, operations, billing, and project closure.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to foster and maintain robust, long-term relationships.
- Support management in business development initiatives and stay attuned to potential work opportunities.
Specific Duties Include:
- Evaluate the scope of work, identify subcontractor packages, and secure subcontractor bids.
- Assess specifications, pricing, and competitive subcontractor quotes for accuracy.
- Review drawings and generate take-offs utilizing Bluebeam software.
- Develop detailed estimates for clients, including all necessary items, labor, equipment, and materials.
- Manage the full project lifecycle of successful tenders, taking responsibility for all aspects of project performance.
- Collaborate with the on-site Supervisor to jointly manage construction elements.
- Consult with clients, vendors, and colleagues to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Conduct site visits for both existing and prospective projects.
- Ensure project execution aligns with client contracts and BM Group's financial objectives.
- Manage claims and change orders, working with clients and consultants to identify optimal solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, prioritizing client relationships.
- Compile job costing summaries at project closeout to maintain a historical library of unit rates for future tender preparation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management and Estimating, preferably within the demolition construction sector.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Capable of effectively managing customer relations, addressing customer issues, complaints, and inquiries while delivering excellent service.
- Strong work ethic – adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while finding solutions to challenges.
- Self-motivated – a professional with the drive to achieve high-level results.
- Team-oriented – values the support of colleagues and seeks opportunities to assist others in their success.
- Valid Driver's License is essential, along with access to a personal vehicle.
