Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care.
- Reporting and Documentation: Accurately report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities as required.
- Counselling and Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) is a requirement.
