Food Service Supervisor

George's Greek Village Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen staff.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a willingness to train.
- Permanent position with 30 hours per week.
- Fluent in English.
