Job Title: Roofer Helper

We are seeking a skilled Roofer Helper to join our team at 2697081 Ontario INC. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The Roofer Helper will assist in the construction of buildings, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. The successful candidate will also operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials. Additionally, the Roofer Helper will assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment:

The Roofer Helper will work outdoors, at heights, in noisy and dusty environments. The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding environments
