About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at HKS Construction Ltd. as a Construction Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Task Assistance: Provide support to construction team members with tasks such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials.
  • Site Maintenance: Assist in cleaning and maintaining the construction site, including removing rubble and debris.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend to and feed machines and equipment used in construction, ensuring they are in good working order.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Work Schedule: A 30-40 hour work week, with flexibility to adapt to changing site requirements.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
