About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled External Recruiter to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As an External Recruiter, you will play a critical role in providing value-added advice and guidance to client-managers within our organization on external recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IH leaders and managers to proactively identify recruitment needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Engage with hiring managers to support opportunities to recruit qualified staff and ensure they are engaged with Career Marketing efforts.
  • Prescreen and short-list candidates as per manager specifications and provide HR guidance on interview and selection of external applicants.
  • Maintain an inventory of qualified external applicants and work with marketing specialists to develop marketing materials.
  • Liaise and build relationships with educational institutions to attract potential staff and develop, evaluate, and continuously improve recruitment practices and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
